The World Healing Fellowship™ is a non-denominational association of Christian ministers, pastors, church workers, missionaries, and educators who desire a ministerial common bond to reach around the globe with the life-saving and miracle-working power of the Holy Spirit.
The Fellowship™ seeks to help equip, educate, and encourage men and women throughout the nations to obey the Great Commission of Jesus Christ, to “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15).
As a worldwide association with media, ministry, and missionary outreaches already active in over 190 countries, The Fellowship™ strives to help each member focus first locally, then regionally, nationally, and internationally. As clearly directed by Jesus Christ in Acts 1:8, “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”

Benny Hinn is a recognized and respected teacher, healing evangelist, and best selling author. His teaching ministry effectively touches millions each week through his daily half-hour television program, This Is Your Day!, which can be seen internationally in over 190 countries. Tens of thousands gather to experience God's saving and healing power at his monthly Miracle Crusades held throughout the United States and around the world.
Hinn was born in 1952 in Jaffa, Israel, into a family of Greek and Armenian heritage. He was raised in the Greek Orthodox Church and attended French Catholic schools in Israel. The family immigrated to Toronto, Canada, in 1968. He became a charismatic Christian in 1972 and was greatly influenced by the ministry of the late evangelist, Kathryn Kuhlman. Hinn's public ministry began in December 1974 in Oshawa, Ontario. He was soon holding weekly healing meetings in Toronto that attracted thousands.
In the early 1980's, he moved to Orlando, Florida, where he became pastor of the World Outreach Center. His international crusade and daily television ministry began in 1990 and has continued to expand. Crowds of over a million people have attended services at his international crusades and This Is Your Day! can be seen in over 192 nations. |
